Hearts are Lit

You first felt it with the cold whisper of the unseen, then by the vivid lights everywhere when the daylight starts to disappear.

We used to remember this term whenever we leaf off our calendars to December. Yea, and even I come to smile to myself every now and then. We usually mark the names of those people close to us, making a list for gifting. Giving wrapped up gifts to our loved ones, and perhaps this is the most awaited scene whenever this holiday comes! Perhaps, perhaps. I, just like you, is still reminded that love is present at all times. And that feeling of affection, is somewhat being emphasized when we think of the true spirit of the season. To respect, to share, forgive, and to let others feel that they're loved so nigh. Therefore, we are given the advantage tp let our hearts reign over our minds, even just in a jiffy.

These are not all, and I'm convicted that you know who we are thinking about, going to talk about. The Almighty, giving us the strength, the joy and love above all. It's He, who never forgets to spare every little desire that we have in our hearts. And yea, this holiday we give thanks to Him, keeping our hopes high as we celebrate with Him the once-in-a-year celebration, Christmas.

Yes, I talked about the true spirit of Christmas. :)

You Are A Teacher

you are a teacher
with a firm mission
and a positive vision,
is what you render.

you are a teacher
with true intentions
and to the right direction,
we know we are closer.

you are a teacher that sacrifices
and gives up his own needs completely
hope you know,
we are so dearly.

you are a teacher
who inspires every human,
to be kind and studious
beloved, you are one.

Science is Everywhere

You, me, us. Every educated human is essentially aware that Science occurs in our every day living. We make conflicts, Science. Love, Science. Environment, still, Science.
Like a flower, we are still folded and has not yet matured enough to face life's trials and challenges. Therefore, we have and we need to be more exposed to some of the multifarious aspects in our lives, where Science culture is one. Why Science and for what?
Science for it has brought us to the modernized century and so, to success. We need to adapt to the diverse Science culture for development, where we can perhaps explore the world and the universe.

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE

Remember this line: 'in every prayer, every song the community unites'?
If so, kindly adopt its tune and try to sing with this phrase instead: in every word, in every language the country unites... Got it? High5! ^^V

Through the years, our country has been gleaming because of its progressive islands. Time after time, we hear from the news in the televisions and audios, plus in the internet about the successful Pinoys and Pinays in the multifarious aspects. Lately, have you realised how far we've come, and how we were able to reach the top?

So here it is:

Born on August 19, 1878, in Baler, Tayabas (now Aurora), Manuel L. Quezon is known as the Second President of the Republic of the Philippines, and as the First President of the Philippine Commonwealth. When he was a teen, he joined several protesters to revolt against the Spaniards. Together with Emilio Aguinaldo and the Filipino nationalists, he fought during the Filipino-American War. Unfortunately, he was jailed for doing such. When he was freed, he swore alliance with the United States.

Quezon was once a hero in Baler, as he is in the whole country. His deeds proved that being a Filipino is a great dignity. For without his bravery, we won't be reaching a star as high as where we are now. From Quezon to all the Filipinos in the whole world!

Been Getting Through With It

In my Technology and Livelihood Education subject, I have learned a lot although we're still on the first half of the first semester. My ideas and interests unfold, and that I learned how to have a better research through the use of those search terms. I have developed my skills on how to effectively express emotions and to speak the thoughts on my mind by blogging, and a lot more!

However, there were still woes that made me apply my learnings more slow, and it is the population that we have in our class. And yea, it is apparent that it's quite inevitable for us to create noise, not a sound but an annoying noise.

There's nothing else that I can do but to deal and go with the flow. Whatever may happen, I know it's because of some reasons.

Proving on, I will just have to bear with the situations I'm in in school. I know and I suppose that everything, asd time will pass by... everythings gonna be okay. :)

Watch Your Tongue :)

Small world. Small world with a thousand countries, and a thousand of different languages. Do you believe that everybody of this world knows how to speak and at the same time, understand all of the speaking tongues?

Here in the Philippines, we have our native language -- Filipino. A language that's being understood in our country completely, and rarely in the outside, and just the same with the other countries of this world. Spanish is just for Spain, and Mexican is just for Mexico.

All of us know the fact that it's a big 'NO' to say that all of us know how to speak and understand the different languages. So how do people communicate with one another now? That is, through the use of a language that's universal. A language that could be understood by all the people. And yea, we take the English language as the medium of communication/communicating with the people that are very distant to us.

Of course there'll be fluency if we develop ourselves in speaking in English, as well as our native tongue, Filipino. Saying it properly and with kindness would help a lot in improving and reconstructing attitudes of each individual.

Therefore, our thoughts should unfold, hence, let us help ourselves and give significance to our native tongue, certainly, our universal language. :D

Shake it, Shake!

The 2009 Nutrition Month has finally come! This July, a lot of activities were done and still going on in our campus. Some active participants have joined in the different contests like the nutri quiz, cookfest & foodfest while others are still planning to be in the upcoming activities.
The theme "Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan" is what is being emphasized, apparently, what everyone should endeavor to work out for. Of course, proper way of living is the need of us humans to be protected against pain-causing diseases. I mean it's like putting all the carrots, potatoes, cabbages and bittermelon in a blender, and then harmonize and afterwhich sip every drop like it's just a normal drink? Perfect chap! [HAHA].
Analyzing it, I truly appreciate and understand how and why the school is implementing such
activities. One reason I can visualize is that -- for us to open our eyes and begin thinking of some ways on how we can improve and take care of ourselves - our health, our life.
Therafter, we'll have to follow the food pyramid, the varieties of food that we should have and proper personal hygiene.
